Here's an article about 20 different professional musicians and their college majors! It's cool to see the variety of majors that successful musicians have. Seeing that not all of the musicians were music majors is interesting as well.
That's really cool because we can connect that back to the alumni who keep coming back and telling us all these things that they have done outside of music very inspiring.

ReplyDeleteI find this to be very interesting. This shows that no matter what we think we will be doing, it is fate that decides what we do. Going to a liberal arts university, I find it so cool that many of their majors were in the liberal arts and have ended up in music.

ReplyDeleteI found it interesting how many of these musicians still majored in something creative or that was still applicable to music. There were a lot that chose another performing art to major in, as well as many who studied the production or business sides of music
