Wow, a lot of these are really interesting. I found 11 most interesting (Some people can't enjoy music). I have known about anhedonia for other things, but I never imagined there would be music anhedonia. It is very strange to think about not having any pleasure or emotions from music because that is very far removed from my own experiences.
I think #6 is really interesting! (Music can actually cure tinnitus) Its really neat that listening to a specific kind of music can cure a real affliction. I think its also cool that music has a huge effect on neuroplasticity, and that the research into that has helped with the tinnitus research as well.
I think that #7 (listening to music about alcohol makes people more likely to drink). I have always thought that we subconsciously pick up much more strongly on lyrics than we consciously believe, and this scientifically shows it. I think this knowledge is also concerning. Theoretically, this means that any lyrics could create subconscious reactions. The people who write the music we listen to have incredible power over our brains. Do they have a responsibility to take that into consideration?
I find #4 "It can combat ADHD." really cool and it touches me personally. I have really bad ADHD but as I started to play music I slowly became able to focus longer and longer. I still see it progressively getting better still.
